​ Sherri Bonnallie is a woman of many labels. Born and raised in the East End of Hamilton High School Diploma Honorably discharged from Canadian Armed Forces at a young age, Achieving 3 different College Diplomas in the Arts /Academic / Funeral Services and displaying her compassion towards Youth/Senseless Crimes/Founder of Give Proof to Our Youth since 2012/Present, Lead on Barton Street Peace March focusing on awareness, Violence of Senseless Crimes committed along Barton Street 2015-Present/ 2011-2012 Ex-President for Men’s Semi-Pro Football Club, Steel City Patriots /Published Poet /Artist /Starting Resident Lead Butler Hub (Chair 2016)/Motivational Speaker( Gun Amnesty Program, Youth Engagements ) /Activist/ Outreaching to Community/Volunteering. Her relevant work started 15 years ago dedicating her time/efforts to many programs throughout our City of Hamilton and is a strong role model as a Mother and Grandmother and friend to many. Sherri has in the past 8 years  shown her achievements through receiving written articles/awards/certificates on her in the Hamilton Spectator, Mountain News, World Poetry Movement , Bill Kelly Show, John Howard Society Hamilton (Making a difference in our Community) John Howard Society Youth At Risk Development Y.A.R.D Outreach Program and always in attendance on important issues throughout Hamilton and received 2016 Woman Over Forty Absolutely Fabulous Woman Appreciation Award. Sherri has donated $15,000 over these past years to programs already set in place for youth throughout Hamilton and will continue to do so. Sherri has proven to be a very strong individual showing her ability to turn negative happenings in her own life into a sharing and healing process with others since the murder of her son Marley Jordan Rowe in 2014.

Her efforts to continue and her strength are heightened and more so engaged to continue her endeavors, 2017 Woman Of Distinction Awards, Nominee for Community Leadership Achievement.
​2018 Hamilton Hero for Community Leadership Award...….Winner of the Woman Who Rocks Community Leadership 2020 Looking forward to many more in 2021! 

In 2019 July 24th I had the Opportunity to be in a Documentary about Senseless Violence , called Black Sun this was Produced and set for viewing come this September in Montreal at the Black Film Awards 2020. Adrien Wallace is an awesome Documentary Film Writer and Producer from Toronto.

Sherri is always challenging the Community to get involved and bring Positive Change to better Our City of Hamilton.
We all have a voice and are equally received whatever the cause, we must understand we are accountable as residence to engage and join together to do our duty and act positive towards the future.
